Introduction

This tour also allows you to explore the cultural and historical wonders of Kathmandu, all set against the majestic backdrop of the Himalayas.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Durbar Square, Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Taleju Temple, and Jagannath Temple. Marvel at the towering figure of Kala Bhairaba, Shiva Parbati Temple, and the sacred Kumari Ghar. Complete the day with a visit to Kasthamandap, a historic wooden structure.

Day 2: Explore Kathmandu

Spend the day exploring Kathmandu’s rich cultural heritage. Visit the massive Boudhanath Stupa and Pashupatinath Temple, two of the city’s most iconic religious landmarks. Continue to Bhaktapur and Patan, two ancient cities renowned for their well-preserved temples, palaces, and intricate wood carvings.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Chitwan National Park

Depart Kathmandu for a scenic drive to Chitwan National Park. Upon arrival, check into your lodge and relax for the remainder of the day, enjoying the serene surroundings of the park.

Day 4: Explore Chitwan National Park

Delve into a full day of adventure in Chitwan National Park. Begin with a jungle walk and bird watching, followed by a dugout canoe ride to observe water birds and reptiles. End the day with a visit to the local Tharu Village, where you can experience the culture of the indigenous Tharu people.

Day 5: Chitwan to Kathmandu

Return to Kathmandu and, in the afternoon, visit the Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), one of the most important Buddhist sites in Nepal. This hilltop stupa offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley.

Day 6: Departure from Kathmandu

Transfer to the airport for your onward flight or extend your stay in Nepal or nearby destinations.
