Day 1-2: Delhi – Where Old Meets New

Arrival and Old Delhi Tour 
Welcome to Delhi! After you’ve settled into your hotel, we’ll kick things off with a tour of Old Delhi. Trust me, you’re in for a treat! 
• Visit the impressive Jama Mosque 
• Explore the historic Red Fort 
• Take a rickshaw ride through Chandni Chowk (my favorite part!)

New Delhi Exploration 
In the afternoon, we’ll switch gears and check out New Delhi: 
• Marvel at Humayun’s tomb 
• Drive past iconic government buildings 
• See the bustling Connaught Place 
• Snap a photo at India Gate 
Pro tip: Don’t forget to try some street food in Chandni Chowk. The flavors are out of this world! 

Day 3: Agra – Home of the Taj Mahal

Today, we’re off to Agra! Get ready to tick off a major bucket list item: 
• Tour the massive Agra Fort 
• Visit the breathtaking Taj Mahal (sunset views are incredible!) 

Day 4-5: Jaipur – The Pink City

En Route to Jaipur 
On our way to Jaipur, we’ll make a pit stop at Fatehpur Sikri, a fascinating “ghost city”: 
• Explore the abandoned structures 
• Learn about its mysterious history

Jaipur Sightseeing 
In Jaipur, we’ll dive into Rajasthani culture: 
• Visit the stunning Amber Fort (the Sheesh Mahal is a personal favorite) 
• See the iconic Hawa Mahal 
• Check out Jantar Mantar observatory 
• Tour the City Palace 
Fun fact: Jaipur isn’t naturally pink! It was painted this color to welcome Prince Albert in 1876. 

Day 6-7: Varanasi – Spiritual Heart of India

• Our first evening in Varanasi is magical: 
• Witness the Aarti ceremony on the Ganges 
• Feel the spiritual energy of this ancient city
 
Varanasi Exploration 
• Take an early morning boat ride on the Ganges

Day 8-9: Kolkata – City of Joy

Welcome to Kolkata, the cultural capital of India!
• Visit the India Museum
• See the iconic Howrah Bridge
• Explore the beautiful Victoria Memorial

Day 10-12: Darjeeling – Tea and Mountains

Arrival in Darjeeling 
After a quick flight to Bagdogra, we’ll head to Darjeeling. The rest of the day is yours to relax and soak in the mountain air. 

Darjeeling Sightseeing 
• Visit Ghoom monastery 
• Check out the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute 
• See Tibetan craftsmen at work at the Refugee Self Help Centre

Day Trip to Kalimpong 
• Visit Tharpa Choling Monastery 
• Explore colorful flower nurseries 

Day 13-14: Gangtok – Sikkim’s Crown Jewel

Gangtok Tour 
• Visit Dodrul Chorten and Enchey Monastery 
• Explore the Research Institute of Tibetology 
• Check out traditional arts and crafts at the Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom

Rumtek Monastery Excursion 
• Visit the impressive Rumtek Monastery 
• Enjoy breathtaking views from Tashi viewpoint 

Day 15-16: Back to Kolkata and Farewell

We’ll fly back to Kolkata for our last night in India. Use this time to pick up some last-minute souvenirs or just relax before your journey home.
