Introduction

Experience the beauty of North Nepal on this unforgettable trek through the Annapurna region. Starting in the city of lakes, Pokhara, the Ghorepani trek offers breathtaking views of Annapurna, oak and rhododendron forests, and encounters with local villagers. Enjoy the perfect combination of cultural sightseeing and nature as you trek through some of the most scenic landscapes in Nepal.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or explore the local area.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Transfer from Kathmandu to Pokhara and take an afternoon city tour. Visit Old Pokhara, the famous Kali Temple, David’s Fall, and the mystical Gupteshwor Cave.

Day 3: Pokhara – Nayapul – Hile

Start your trek from Nayapul after a scenic drive from Pokhara. The trek leads through a lush bamboo forest and ascends gradually through Sudami before reaching Hile (1495m), your stop for the night.

Day 4: Hile – Ghorepani

Begin the day with a challenging climb on a stone staircase that leads to Uleri village (2070m), where you will be treated to magnificent views of Annapurna, Himchuli, and Fishtail. Continue through dense oak and rhododendron forests before reaching Ghorepani (2850m).

Day 5: Ghorepani – Poonhill – Tadapani

Early morning trek to Poonhill (3210m) for a stunning sunrise over the Himalayas. After enjoying the panoramic views, descend to Tadapani (2590m), passing through scenic villages and oak forests.

Day 6: Tadapani – Ghandrung

Trek down from Tadapani to the village of Ghandrung (1940m), descending through oak forests with occasional flat sections. Ghandrung is known for its beautiful stone houses and vibrant culture.

Day 7: Ghandrung – Nayapul – Pokhara – Kathmandu

Descend from Ghandrung to Nayapul, passing through several charming mountain villages. From Nayapul, drive back to Pokhara and fly to Kathmandu, where you will check into your hotel.

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight or extend your stay in Nepal or explore further by adding an India tour.
