Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in the bustling capital of Nepal and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a tour of Kathmandu’s historic Durbar Square, home to the Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Taleju Temple, and the iconic Kumari Ghar, home of the living goddess. Visit temples such as Jagannath and Shiva Parvati, and admire the statue of Kala Bhairaba.

Day 2: Kathmandu City Tour

Spend the day exploring Kathmandu’s spiritual landmarks. Visit Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest in the world, and Pashupatinath Temple, a sacred Hindu site. Continue to the ancient city of Patan and visit Swayambhunath Stupa (the Monkey Temple), offering panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley.

Day 3: Kathmandu – Pokhara

Take a scenic drive to Pokhara, a charming city known for its lakes and mountain views. Enjoy an afternoon of leisure, allowing you to explore the city or relax by the serene Phewa Lake.

Day 4: Pokhara Sightseeing

Explore the highlights of Pokhara with a half-day tour, visiting the bustling Old Bazar, David’s Fall, and the sacred Gupteshwor Cave. Also, enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Phewa Lake with stunning views of the Annapurna mountain range.

Day 5: Pokhara – Chitwan

Drive to Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its incredible biodiversity. In the afternoon, embark on a jungle safari through grasslands and forests to spot wildlife, including the one-horned rhinoceros, Royal Bengal tiger, and gharial crocodile.

Day 6: Chitwan National Park

Enjoy a full day of activities in Chitwan. Take a guided jungle walk, go bird watching, and experience a canoe ride to observe water birds and reptiles. Visit a local village to learn about the traditions and lifestyle of the indigenous Tharu people.

Day 7: Chitwan – Nagarkot

Travel to Nagarkot, a picturesque mountain village offering breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, soaking in the panoramic views of snow-capped peaks and the possibility of spotting Mount Everest. Sunrise and sunset views here are particularly stunning.

Day 8: Nagarkot – Kathmandu

Drive back to Kathmandu, stopping at Bhaktapur en route. Bhaktapur is an ancient city known for its well-preserved architecture, terracotta temples, palaces, and pagodas. Explore the city’s monuments, including intricately carved wood columns and open courtyards, with the Himalayas providing a majestic backdrop.

Day 9: Departure from Kathmandu

Transfer to the airport for your flight home, or extend your stay in Nepal or with a tour of India.
