Day 1: Arrive in Colombo / Negombo

Arrive at Colombo Airport and transfer to your hotel in Negombo, a coastal town known for its colonial heritage.

Day 2: Negombo – Anuradhapura

Depart for Anuradhapura to explore Sri Lanka’s ancient capital. Visit the Ruwanwelisaya Stupa, the sacred Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi tree, and the serene Samadhi Buddha statue. End the day with a peaceful boat ride on Kala Wawa.

Day 3: Anuradhapura – Polonnaruwa

Journey to Polonnaruwa, a UNESCO World Heritage site with well-preserved ruins of ancient Ceylon. Conclude the day with a scenic boat ride on Parakrama Samudraya.

Day 4: Polonnaruwa – Sigiriya

Head to Sigiriya, the iconic rock fortress often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Marvel at its historical and archaeological significance.

Day 5: Sigiriya – Dambulla – Kandy

Travel to Kandy, with a stop at the Spice Garden in Matale for a spice cooking demonstration. Upon arrival in Kandy, visit the Gem Museum and the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic.

Day 6: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

Tour Kandy’s highlights, including Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, and the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya. Continue to Nuwara Eliya, known as the “Little England” of Sri Lanka, with its beautiful mountains, valleys, and tea plantations.

Day 7: Nuwara Eliya

Explore Nuwara Eliya, famous for its tea production. Enjoy a traditional tea-plucking experience and savor a cup of authentic Ceylon tea.

Day 8: Nuwara Eliya – Ella – Yala

Take a scenic train journey to Ella, a quaint mountain village known for its cool climate and panoramic views. Afterward, drive to Yala for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Yala Safari

Day 13: Colombo

Day 14: Colombo – Departure
