Introduction

Embark on an unforgettable trekking journey that takes you through the majestic mountains, lush forests, and pristine rivers of Nepal’s Annapurna region. This trek offers a real sense of adventure with river crossings on suspension bridges, trekking through the world’s deepest gorge, and witnessing magnificent waterfalls. A highlight of the trip is a day of leisure in the serene Muktinath, allowing you to soak in its spiritual beauty. Whether you’re a seasoned trekker or a nature enthusiast, this journey promises to leave you mesmerized by the wonders of Nepal.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to your hotel. Relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Kathmandu – Pokhara

After breakfast, transfer to Pokhara, where you’ll check into your hotel. Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Old Pokhara city, including visits to the Kali Temple, David’s Fall, and Gupteshwor Cave.

Day 3: Pokhara – Nayapul – Hile

Begin your adventure with a drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, followed by a 5-hour trek to Hile Camp. The trail takes you through bamboo forests, past waterfalls, and across mountain streams, leading up to Hile Camp at 1,495m.

Day 4: Hile – Ghorepani

Start your day trekking through the village of Uleri, where you’ll be treated to your first stunning views of Annapurna South (7,219m), Himchuli (6,440m), and Fishtail (6,996m). Continue through oak and rhododendron forests, reaching Ghorepani (2,850m) after approximately 7 hours of trekking.

Day 5: Ghorepani – Tatopani

Trek downhill through several picturesque villages, including Chite, Sikha, and Ghara, before crossing the Kali Gandaki River via a suspension bridge. Arrive in Tatopani (1,190m) after about 6 hours of trekking.

Day 6: Tatopani – Ghasa

Head towards the Kali Gandaki Gorge, reputedly the deepest gorge in the world, nestled between Annapurna I and Dhaulagiri. Trek through the rock tunnels, waterfalls, and charming hamlets, ascending to Ghasa after 6 hours.

Day 7: Ghasa – Tukuche

Trek through lush forests, following the Kali Gandaki River as you ascend to Lete Khola and Kalopani. Continue along the riverbank, reaching the picturesque village of Tukuche after another 6 hours of trekking.

Day 8: Tukuche – Kagbeni

A dramatic change in scenery greets you today as you trek through desert-like terrain. The trail is windy, as the air currents funnel between Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. Pass through Marpha, Jomsom, and Eklaibhatti before arriving at Kagbeni (2,800m) after 6 hours of trekking.

Day 9: Kagbeni – Muktinath

Ascend through Khirgar (3,270m) and Jharkot (3,550m), reaching the sacred site of Muktinath in about 4 hours. Muktinath is a revered pilgrimage destination for both Hindus and Buddhists.

Day 10: Muktinath

Enjoy a full day of leisure in Muktinath, taking in the serene surroundings and spiritual atmosphere.

Day 11: Muktinath – Jomsom

Retrace your steps back to Jomsom, taking approximately 5 hours to reach the town where you’ll rest for the night.

Day 12: Jomsom – Pokhara – Kathmandu

Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara, and then continue onward to Kathmandu. On arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 13: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight, or choose to extend your stay in Nepal or India with one of our additional tour options.
