Introduction

This short yet immersive trekking tour is perfect for those wanting a taste of Nepal’s trekking adventures. Starting from Kathmandu, you’ll journey through serene forests, quaint tea houses, and scenic villages, all while being treated to breathtaking views of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks. Trek through the ancient Newari villages and visit the sacred Nava Buddha Stupa Buddhist Monastery before returning to the bustling city of Kathmandu. An ideal blend of cultural exploration and nature’s beauty.

Day 1: Kathmandu – Sundarijal – Chisopani

Kick off your trek with an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal. Begin your ascent with a 2-hour uphill trek to Mulkharak, where you’ll stop for lunch. Afterward, continue on a gentle 1.5-hour descent to Chisopani (1,285m – 2,185m). Spend the night at a cozy local tea house.

Day 2: Chisopani – Nagarkot

After breakfast, enjoy a flat 2-hour trek followed by a 1-hour descent to Chauki Bhangung. Following a leisurely lunch, continue on another hour-long trek to Nagarkot, a scenic hill station known for its stunning panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, and Gaurishankar Himals. Overnight at a local tea house.

Day 3: Nagarkot – Dhulikhel

After a hearty breakfast, embark on a 2-hour easy trek, followed by a 3-hour descent to the charming town of Dhulikhel, known for its beautiful Newari architecture and ancient history. Enjoy lunch en route and spend the night in a local tea house.

Day 4: Dhulikhel – Kathmandu

Start your day with a visit to the sacred Nava Buddha Stupa Buddhist Monastery. From there, trek for about 2 hours to Panauti, a historic town nestled in the foothills. Afterward, drive back to Kathmandu where you’ll check into your hotel. Later, transfer to the airport for your departure, or extend your stay with additional tours in Nepal or India.
