Day 1: Arrival in Colombo

Arrive in Colombo and transfer to your hotel for a restful evening in Sri Lanka’s bustling capital.

Day 2: Colombo City Tour

Today, explore Colombo’s Cinnamon Gardens, Fort area, Sea Street’s goldsmith quarters, and the historic Dutch Church of Wolfendhal. Visit Independence Square and the Avukana Buddha replica. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure.

Day 3: Colombo to Galle

Depart for Galle, where you’ll tour the Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with an ancient harbor and charming colonial architecture. Overnight in Galle.

Day 4: Galle to Yala National Park

Travel inland to Yala, stopping by Ratnapura. Arrive at Yala National Park, renowned for its elephants, leopards, and bears, and settle into your accommodation near the park.

Day 5: Yala to Nuwara Eliya

Begin your day with a morning jeep safari in Yala. Then, journey to Nuwara Eliya, stopping in Ella for scenic views and a visit to Haggala Botanical Gardens. Visit a tea plantation and factory to learn about Sri Lanka’s famous tea before an evening tour of Nuwara Eliya.

Day 6: Nuwara Eliya

Visit Horton Plains for an early morning trek to Baker’s Falls and World’s End, a sheer drop offering panoramic views. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure in this idyllic hill town.

Day 7: Nuwara Eliya to Kandy

Day 8: Kandy to Sigiriya via Dambulla
